ST. LOUIS, MO – September 8th through September 10th was the 22nd Monster MOPAR Weekend at Gateway International Raceway with hundreds of MOPAR fans from all over the world in attendance. The weekend included wild Drag Racing, and an overflowing car show with hundreds of cars that included the oldest and newest MOPARS - and Jax Wax was there!
Oakmonte Village is a new 25-acre luxury senior living community in the heart of prestigious Lake Mary, will be hosting their first community antique car/motorcycle show and swap meet. People can shop and enjoy looking at some extremely impressive antique cars and motorcycles. Fabulous food will be for sale and People's Choice Awards will be given to the most awesome exhibits. Come out and enjoy.
August 31st through September 3rd was the 28th annual NMRA Ford Expo with countless Blue Oval fans from all over the world in attendance. As one of the oldest all-Ford events in the nation, the event included wild and crazy heads-up NMRA Denso Drag Racing, and an overflowing car show that included the oldest and newest Fords - and Jax Wax was there!
November 4th and 5th was the Florida Mopar Association’s 19th Annual Mopars with Big Daddy at Garlits’ Museum of Drag Racing with car fans from all over in attendance. The weekend included a judged car show that included the oldest and newest MOPARS - and Jax Wax was there!

This past weekend (September 25-27, 2008) was the open house at the York Harley Davidson Vehicle Operations plant. The weather was cold and wet and, as a result, attendance was significantly down. Area hotels reported numerous cancellations. The plant carried on with their festivities the best they could under the circumstances but, one of their big draws, the demo rides, had to be cancelled for much of the event. There were still plant tours (the other really big draw) and dealer merchandise available for those that braved the elements.

The Great Lehigh valley Antique Show was a hit with Vendors for 3 states with one coming all the way from Floria to set up. One of the biggest highlights was the Appraisal Clinic hosted by Harry Rinker. The collector inspector was able to shed light on many items including Furniture,Toys and a Roseville vase worth around $7000.00. The next Antique show will be Febuary 14th 2009. Mark you calenders.

Mr. Fu Zijun, President of Aihua motors visited the Guangdong Grand River Group on the 26th of May. During his visit, Mr. Yixin, General Manager of Guangdong Grand River Group spoke with Mr. Fu Zijun about further improving cooperation between Grand River Group and Aihua Motors.
After the conversation, Mr. Yixin together with other Grand River Group’s key directors and employees took Mr. Fu Zijun on a tour of the factory:
“[Grand River Group] continually develop new products. [Grand River Group's] products are very cutting edge, and [Grand River Group] also diversifies its customer base," remarked Mr. Fu Zijun during the tour.

GPC has ruled itself out of the running to work on making a deal seeing it has no feasible business sense in the end of the day to justify the high costs involved to host this prestigious event to where some sources state Eccelstone was demanding approximately 35-50 usd million to host the Canadian Grand Prix. All government levels think otherwise seeing this 1 week-end event draws over 100 usd million into the Montreal economy, with this, various government officials can/will try to save the Montreal Grand Prix, but, if they do, it will likely be for 2010 seeing 2009 looks like its out of the question.

That's the truth folks, no matter how much you bought your mini van 2 years ago, if you'd sale it today, you would loose a substancial amount of money.
What's the point to getting a big gaz guzzler when the car dealerships are practically giving away their smaller cars(Toyota, Honda, Mazda)
But for some of you out there, myself included, that still enjoy the advantages of a bigger car(more room, easyer to drive, etc), pardon my french, but...We're getting it from both ends!!
