Tata Motors today reported consolidated gross revenue of Rs.74151.21 crores in 2008-09. The consolidated financial performance of the company is not comparable to 2007-08 on account of the acquisition of Jaguar Land Rover in June 2008. In 2007-08, the consolidated gross revenue was Rs.40340.79 crores.
Tata Motors today reported revenues (net of excise) of Rs.6404.63 crores on a stand-alone basis for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, of the financial year 2009-10, a decline of 7.6% compared to Rs.6928.44 crores in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Days after Tata Motors officially quit from West Bengal over excessive politicisation of the Singur issue, Tatas have decided to relocate their Rs 1 lakh Nano car project in Gujarat, after scouting many sites in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. A formal announcement in this regard is likely to be made by Tata group chairman Ratan Tata and Chief Minister Narendra Modi later in the day.

A., Spain, since 2005, has acquired the remaining 79% shares in Hispano by way of exercise of the existing call option, through mutual agreement with the other share-holder, Investalia S. A, Spain.
