INDIANAPOLIS EVENT PLANNER TAPPED TO PRODUCE THE 5TH ANNUAL INDIANA CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION
October 15, 2008 --
Indianapolis, IN— K Sherrie+Company Wedding and Event Planning was sought out to plan and produce the annual fundraising gala for Indiana Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) for this November. After careful consideration of other local planning firms, Sarah Andrews, the chair of the planning committee, chose K Sherrie+Company, commenting positively on the style and aesthetic of the luxury, boutique wedding and event planning firm.
“After seeing Katasha’s website, I knew I wanted to meet with her because I liked the look and the style that her company represented,” says Sarah Andrews. Katasha Butler, founder and president of K Sherrie+Company responds, “I am extremely excited about working with Sarah and ICRF for this very noble cause. I have close loved ones who are cancer survivors, so their mission is very near and dear to my heart. There are a lot of great community partners working together on this event and I am honored to have been chosen.”
Celebration of Hope: A Night in Paris is set to open on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the new Renaissance Hotel in Carmel. There will be a silent auction, an art show by local Indianapolis artists and a wine tasting. Last year’s event drew over 250 guests, including leaders in the medical and business community. Sponsorships are still available for the silent auction portion of the fundraiser as well as the dinner presentation. For more information about sponsorship levels and benefits, contact Sarah Andrews at 317.915.5648 or at sarah.andrews@usoncology.com. All contributions are tax-deductible.
The Indiana Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the continued improvement of cancer treatment through ongoing clinical and prevention trials offering the latest drug therapy and technology.
